Virtual Landscape Classes 

LVMWD customers are invited to attend Green Garden Group’s (G3) online classes. Registration is FREE for LVMWD customers! Weekly topics include garden design, turf removal, rainwater capture, and irrigation basics.

In-Person Workshops

LVMWD’s workshop series is offered twice per year, in the spring and fall, and pulls in industry experts as instructors. The workshops featured aim to provide property owners with the knowledge and resources required to take on a variety of projects including landscape transformation and  maintain a sustainable, California-friendly garden.

California Friendly Landscape Water Management (In Spanish)

Professional Spanish Language Training Series - Irrigation Princliples & Adjustments and Repair

This course is intended for landscape maintenance personnel, and consists of four consecutive 3 to 3.5 hour classes in landscape water management.

Each class builds on principles presented in the preceding class and consists of a slide show with lecture, demonstration and hands-on training. Every participant receives a bound booklet for each class of the course. Classes will hosted by the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District and will be offered on Wednesday evenings in April (4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28) from 5:30pm to 9:00pm.

Location: District Headquarters. 4232 Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas – about ½ mile south of the 101 freeway, off of the Las Virgenes/Malibu Canyon Road exit.

A light supper will be served.
Class size is limited to 30 students.

Pre-registration is required, as the class size is limited to 30 participants.  Please call 818-251-2100 to register.  Attendance at all classes is required for successful completion.
