Virtual Landscape Classes 

LVMWD customers are invited to attend Green Garden Group’s (G3) online classes. Registration is FREE for LVMWD customers! Weekly topics include garden design, turf removal, rainwater capture, and irrigation basics.

In-Person Workshops

LVMWD’s workshop series is offered twice per year, in the spring and fall, and pulls in industry experts as instructors. The workshops featured aim to provide property owners with the knowledge and resources required to take on a variety of projects including landscape transformation and  maintain a sustainable, California-friendly garden.

California Native Plant Horticulture

  • Introduction: Why natives are valuable and how to plant and establish them in our gardens

Join us for an engaging introduction to gardening with California flora.  We will discuss why natives are valuable and how to plant and establish them in our gardens.  We will also visit the topics of irrigation, pruning and ongoing maintenance. This class is recommended for those of us who are new to, or thinking of, gardening with native plants.  Lili is an award-winning horticulturist, educator and garden writer, and TPF’s Director of Special Projects and Adult Education.
